Donoghue v Stevenson, a foundational decision in English tort law, was critical towards creating the modern concept of negligence, by setting out general principles whereby one person would owe a 'duty of care' to another person .
A recreated copy of the 'Snail in the bottle' of the ginger beer which Mrs. May Donoghue had in a Cafe with her friend. She fell ill, and subsequently sued the beer manufacturer Mr.Stevenson.
