Artist Details:
Dilip Chanda, an alumini of the Delhi College of Art. A visual artist hailing from a small village near the banks of the Godavari in Telangana. Growing up amidst forests, layered traditions, and deeply rooted belief systems, his early surroundings cultivated a quiet sensitivity to nature, culture, and the unseen narratives that shape everyday life. These experiences continue to inform his practice, where he explore a form of symbolic realism, blending cultural, political, natural, and mythological elements into evocative, metaphorical compositions.
Through his practice, he attempts to weave contrasting experiences into a cohesive visual language, one that reflects the interconnectedness of human existence and the layered realities we inhabit.
