Artist Details: 

 Dilip Chanda, an alumini of the Delhi College of Art. A visual artist hailing from a small village near the banks of the Godavari in Telangana. Growing up amidst forests, layered traditions, and deeply rooted belief systems, his early surroundings cultivated a quiet sensitivity to nature, culture, and the unseen narratives that shape everyday life. These experiences continue to inform his practice, where he explore a form of symbolic realism, blending cultural, political, natural, and mythological elements into evocative, metaphorical compositions.

Through his practice, he attempts to weave contrasting experiences into a cohesive visual language, one that reflects the interconnectedness of human existence and the layered realities we inhabit. His work has been exhibited at multiple galleries including the Lalit Kala Academi, Aifacs, New Delhi and the Dhoomimal Art Gallery.
